One of my favorite desserts is cheesecake, so when I had to go on a gluten free diet for celiac disease I was keen to recreate a cheesecake as soon as possible! Here is a basic gluten free cheesecake recipe that you can use.
1) Get a packet of gluten free biscuits such as digestives and crush them. The easiest way to do this is by putting them in a plastic bag and beating them with a rolling pin.
2) Melt some butter and mix this in with the crushed biscuits. Next, mold them into a tin and place in the fridge for one hour to harden.
3) Mix a carton of cream cheese with some icing sugar and double cream. The amount of double cream should be half the amount of the cream cheese. Whisk this mixture until it is firm and optionally add some lime zest.
4) Pour the topping into the base and then put in the fridge for 24 hours to set.
I have always wanted to know why cats hate water. Do you wonder? To keep my cat happy I use my Cat Food Coupons to save on the brands of food it loves. I guess I will never know why cats will hate water, but I know it loves good food. All animals like good food. Who doesn’t? I know all other animals love water, but not cats. I knew one cat that would love to take a bath in the water. I don’t recall his name. I remember it being a Scottish fold kitten, which are the cutest when they are small.
I remember the cat growing the nerve to get in running water. The kitten got in the tub and demanded that we wash his nasty fur. He may have liked the water, but he didn’t like the blow dryer. I wonder what happened to that poor cat.
I love some Mediterranean food once in a while, but the problem is that I eat out way too much. I’ve decided that I need to cut back on eating out not just to watch my weight, but to watch my budget because my wallet is taking a pounding from all of the restaurants I’ve been going to. I tell myself sometimes, if I could just find some Mediterranean diet food, then I could be in business because that’s the only stuff I really want to treat myself to eating out. As it turns out, I might be able to have my cake and eat it too; there are several good recipes online for Mediterranean food that I might be able to whip up myself. I looked over some of them and a lot of them look like they’re in my capacity as far as the cooking and preparation go. I think I’m going to start off with one of the many paella recipes that exist on this site.
